Sergio López Figueroa (Spain) is a creative individual with over 14 years of international experience working as a composer and music director across film, concert, theatre and education. Passionate about valuing the role of composers to business and society, he has recently received the International Placement for Creative Entrepreneurs award as part of the Cultural Leadership Programme, supported by the British Council. As a result he will be working closely with an organization in India whilst expanding his leadership skills and building international partnerships for Big Bang Lab. He was also selected by the London Development Agency’s Leadership Focus Group to benefit from a six month coaching and mentorship programme.
He specialized in music for film in the UK obtaining a Postgraduate Diploma on music for film and TV at Bournemouth University, followed by a two year course at the National Film & TV School, NFTS. His nomadic education, flexibility and continuous self development has been a constant strength for Sergio, having completed several business training courses as well as a Master in Digital Content Management, a course focused in the business, technical and legal aspects of the content creative industries.
For many years he worked in music education applying his own personalized methodology Creative Piano to encourage the creation of new compositions by young children combining digital technologies with traditional instrumental piano tuition and performance.
His role as a culture entrepreneur emerged with the vision to create a multicultural classical music ensemble using traditional instruments representing the communities in London, both as a platform for the creation of new music and as a social inclusion project. Driven by his genuine passion about silent films he has written new scores for silent films including the award winning score Clonic Mutations for the film Un Chien Andalou, performed in Spain, Italy, Germany (Berlinale) and UK (Tate modern, ICA). His contribution to the dissemination of cultural heritage in new venues and the delivery of creative cross-art workshops for young people has proved particularly rewarding for participants and audiences.
Big Bang Lab was originally shortlisted for the ¨new ideas, new businesses¨ at Voice 07, the UK National Conference of Social Enterprises. He is passionate about applying new business models implementing creativity and innovation across disciplines and sectors. Through his work as a producer he is promoting new ways of intercultural dialogue and new forms of engagement with cultural heritage. Passionate, he is actively involved in the promotion of social values through cultural engagement by delivering projects, workshops, articles and lectures. He also finds relaxing drawing cartoon characters, cooking and making up bed night stories for his daughter. She now does the same to him!
Milenne Tanganelli (Brazil). Highly versatile, Milenne is our specialist in visual communication across a wide range of media platforms. She is responsible for designing, managing the team and implementing audiovisual strategies of each of the projects, creating a consistent identity for marketing and communication purposes . She is also the creative mind behind Big Bang Lab branding and our beloved 3D snail trademark.
With a background in 3D animation, multimedia and design combined with high levels of technical skills, she has a wide experience in working for cultural organizations and entertainment industries. Milenne has over 12 years experience in working in 3D animation, graphic design, virtual reality, interface design, motion graphics and visual effects for broadcast, film and interactive media. After completing her Masters Degree in Digital Animation from Bournemouth University in 1995, she has worked for long periods in the UK, Brazil and Spain. Her works has received many awards including the BAFTA award (British Academy for Film and Television Arts) in the category of interactive arts in 2003. Among her clients are the BBC, Pathe Films, Cervantes Institute, Fundesco and a great range of museums.
Milenne has no boundaries when it comes to learning and in 2006 she concluded the European programme “Media Design Producing” from IFS (Internationale Filmschule Köln) in Cologne, Germany, taking on new challenges of complex design processes for marketing and promotion activities when communicating across different distribution channels and platforms.
Passionate about creative intercultural dialogue, she has created and currently manages a successful freelance professional network with over 600 members mostly from India and Brazil, as well as, a specialized discussion group to empower women working in the creative industries. Committed to her own values, she has funded her own independent production company and is currently developing a series of 3D animated short films for children that addresses environmental issues and human rights.
When it comes to business she is a confident, charismatic and well organized individual. Her work developing visual concepts from briefs to completion combined with a unique way of helping clients to implement design and communication strategies, makes her a key person that connects the three main areas of Big Bang Lab products and services in learning, production and organisations.
Lissia Fraser (UK) With a background in media arts, photography and fine art, she has developed a genuine interest in the crossover between multimedia, arts, education and technology undertaking a number of roles from management to production assistant. Her practical approach and down to earth nature makes her the an excellent communicator and efficient all rounder project manager assistant. She has been working for a number of years as a lecturer at Cavendish College and Hertfordshire College teaching young people multimedia skills. One of her tasks was to create project briefs that would test students understanding of the theoretical and technical aspects of animation as well as stimulate them creatively. Following her students interest in computer games, she created a brief and enabled students to participate in the design and implementation in their curriculum.
Working with a team of students she co-designed a platform for a simple multilingual 3D computer generated game for literacy and numeracy learning purposes. She is used to manage interdisciplinary teams through various stages of work providing an interactive, learning experience for children and teachers. She also works independently developing and producing creative multimedia learning aids to help children in the area of reading and arithmetic. She is currently managing the development of an educational product on a science topic and still enjoys curating together community art exhibitions for disadvantaged children in Luton.

He works to support government and a mix of public and private sector partners to maximise the role of culture and creativity across society. Ongoing interests include the relationship between creativity and innovation, the role of place in driving creativity and the convergence between different art forms across multiple platforms.
Rebecca Caroe - 2.0 business consultant and marketing strategist
Rebecca works as a business to business sales and marketing consultant, specialising in New Business Development - finding new customers for new products and services. Her experience has been principally in UK and US companies trading in Europe. She now works as a self-employed consultant. Her clients range from two man start-ups to listed FTSE 250 organisations. The common theme is New Business Development.
Anthony Lee - Heritage consultant
Tony is a heritage consultant working for Atkins Heritage, a leading team of multi-disciplinary heritage consultants dedicated to the management of historic places and to assisting clients with heritage and archaeological issues. Tony recently relocated to Denmark, where he is responsible for coordinating and developing the Company’s heritage business across Scandinavia. Tony’s interests include twentieth century heritage, social history and the urban regeneration.
