We are thinking Big and global across age, culture, and language barriers. [what we do?]
We are making a Bang! by provoking social change through new music and filmmaking. [how we do it?]
We are creating a Lab for cultural diplomacy, diversity and innovation [why?]
Big Bang Lab is a leading cultural-social enterprise that creates and delivers dynamic learning programmes and high quality productions. We combine original music with archive and silent films, both contemporary and historical.
Through live performances, plus the re-use of digital media and other forms of distribution, Big Bang Lab communicates and connects people worldwide across language barriers and cultural traditions. It is the only UK creative agency that combines digital and archive media with new music in original formats, from learning to production. From concept to delivery, we engage participants and audiences alike with cultural heritage, social, environmental and contemporary issues.
We work with young people, integrating communities across generations and cultural backgrounds. We are exploring new models of creative collective participation. By engaging people with their heritage, we explore the past, understand the present and build a better future. We are bringing heritage alive because we make it relevant.
Our vision is leading towards creating opportunities for new forms of silent cinema with live music. We are promoting new digital silent films with live original music as a new experience. We are leading the intercultural entrepreneurial action for social change by implementing changes that leave an impact. Big Bang Lab is cinema beyond pure entertainment; music and film combined together as a living experience.
